Behind the Scenes: How Our Collars Are Made
Every Crafted Collar starts at our workshop table — not a factory line. Each collar is cut, assembled and finished by hand right here in the Scottish Borders.
We start by selecting high-quality materials like waterproof Biothane or richly woven tweeds. From there, each collar is measured and cut precisely, ensuring consistency across sizes and styles. We fit each one with solid hardware, then sew, finish and check it by hand — because we believe in making things that last.
It’s a slower process than mass production, but one that gives us complete control over quality and detail. And more than that, it allows us to stay connected to what we care most about: dogs, their humans, and the little details that make a collar feel truly special.
Curious about the tools and techniques we use? We’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes posts over in Threads & Tails soon — stay tuned!
